Quality requirements belong at the start
CEX’s published quality approach includes mold checks, incoming material inspection, first-article inspection, process sampling and finished-product inspection. A project review should translate your drawing and application into an agreed inspection plan.

Request evidence relevant to your application
The existing CEX site lists ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification. Request the current certificate, scope and validity details during supplier qualification. Agree any customer-specific documentation, sampling and acceptance requirements before production.
Inspection equipment alone does not define acceptance. Specify test methods, sampling, calibrated equipment requirements and pass/fail criteria for the actual part.
Can I request an inspection report?
Include the required report and sampling plan in your inquiry so CEX can confirm the scope with the quotation.
Does every part receive every test?
The inspection plan depends on the application and agreement. Confirm which characteristics and tests are required for every part, sample or production lot.

A useful report connects the result to the part
Request the part number and revision, lot or sample identification, characteristic measured, requirement, actual result and disposition. For a material or mechanical test, include the alloy, heat-treatment condition and specimen information. For a leak test, include the medium, pressure, units and acceptance threshold.
Supplier qualification package
Ask for current certificates and the manufacturing-site scope, a relevant example inspection report, and the proposed project control plan. Certificate validity and customer-specific documentation should be checked during qualification. No customer report is published here without permission.
